Boho Luxe Choker – Desert Bloom Millefiori Talisman

At the throat chakra sits a druzy quartz bar, shimmering with tiny crystalline formations that catch the light like desert sand at sunrise. From there, the design flows downward into an ornate micromacramé chestplate, with geometric and organic knotwork that radiates outward like a woven tapestry. At the center hangs a handmade millefiori glass bead, crafted by my friend and artist Purcell Glass. Millefiori, meaning “a thousand flowers,” is created by layering and fusing colored glass rods into intricate floral patterns. At its core sits a small opal stone, adding a soft, shifting glow. The combination of glasswork and natural elements creates a beautiful contrast between human artistry and Earth’s materials. I designed this nature inspired jewelry piece using layered tones of brown cord, with subtle feather accents woven throughout to give it an earthy, grounded feel. The adjustable tie in the back allows me to find the perfect fit, whether I want it worn high and bold or flowing lower across the chest. This is a statement piece—something I wear when I want to embody creativity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to both nature and art.
