Beginners Crochet

Date: Saturday 13th June 2026 Time: 1 - 4pm Ready to start crocheting? Join our hands-on workshop and discover the basics of crochet while learning to create your very own classic granny stripe. This fun and relaxed class will get you started with crochet. Lead by textile artist and tutor Liane Ging. What you will learn The basics of crochet, including how to hold your yarn and hook. Everyone will learn to create a foundation chain, form double and treble stitches, and some learners may progress onto granny stripes or granny squares. All materials will be provided so you do not need to bring anything with you. There will be workshop handouts to use and take away. Whether you are looking to try something new or expand your existing needlecraft skills this workshop is a great opportunity to learn, create and have fun in a supported environment.
