Its compact form factor, measuring just 6.5 by 5.2 by 3.3 inches, attaches securely via RAM® style mounts, allowing operators to position the display for optimal visibility without sacrificing cab space. The machined aluminum enclosure features an anodized finish and rounded corners, providing excellent resistance to impacts, vibration, and environmental exposure. A PreVent™ breather vent equalizes internal pressure while blocking contaminants, and the illuminated power switch offers clear status indication even in low-light conditions. This indicator supports multiple user modes and configurable print formats, making it adaptable to various workflow requirements. Battery-backed time and date ensures data integrity during power interruptions. For connectivity, the CLS-680 includes an M16 socket for CLS scale connection, an M12 socket for RS-232 communication, and a dedicated power cable socket. Wireless options include standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® SSP, and an optional cableless interface to CLS using a Zigbee module.
