Kay Bojesen | Mrs. Claus w/Mixing Spoon

The famous, much-loved Danish designer Kay Bojesen drew this popular Santa Claus in 1948, but poor Santa was on his own without Mrs. Claus for many years. That’s all changed now that Mrs. Claus has found her Santa. Together, they make a delightful couple on a shelf or windowsill in the lead-up to Christmas. Kay Bojesen was able to turn wood into original stories like no other. With his deep passion for craftsmanship and eye for detail, over the years he created an imaginative world of figures and objects, each one with its own unique story. As such, he became one of Denmark’s greatest craftsmen, and his designs will continue to hold a firm place in Danish design history.
