Empire Cafe, Fish Street, Leeds. This Leeds gems is known for its open-fire cooking, simple seasonal dishes and excellent rotisserie chicken. The building on Fish Street has been part of Leeds’ food scene for well over a century, with records of dining on the site going back to the late 1800s. During it's 2023 renovation the owners uncovered the old painted “Empire Café” sign from the early 1900's, giving the old facade a new lease of life.
