Whale Test Print #2

This one of a kind, glow-in-the-dark test print has layers from In the Belly of a Whale and Red Sky at Morning. WHAT IS A TEST PRINT? Screen prints are made by printing one layer of ink at a time, with each layer forming part of the entire image. In our studio, we keep a stack of test prints. We print on these at the beginning of each print run to initially get the ink moving through the screen and make sure everything looks ok. Over time, the ink layers build up on each test print, creating unique, one of a kind screen prints.
