19th C. Chinese Export Canton Famille Rose Medallion 8" Lunch Plates (Set of 3) Set of (3) Antique Hand-Painted Chinese Porcelain Rose Medallion 8" Lunch Plates / Salad Plates / Dessert Plates. Their panels are decorated with court scenes and peonies, birds and butterflies. The background pattern is a light blue and orange trellis / diaper pattern made for the Persian market between 1870-80. Each plate weighs nearly 11 oz. and the lot weighs just under 2 lbs. 2 oz. Dimensions: Diameter 7 7/8 inches x Height 1 inch. Condition: It is in great condition with no breaks, cracks, or hairlines. There is very little wear to the enamel and gilding. There are no chips and very little fritting which can occur as a natural part of the kiln firing process.
