Tiles can be laid loose, as their weight helps keep them in place. However, plastic connectors are strongly recommended for easier installation and improved alignment across larger areas. Connectors are sold separately. Connector guide : Typically 3–4 connectors per tile is sufficient. Use additional connectors in higher-impact areas or around heavy racks.
