INFORMATION TASTING NOTES VARIETIES Nicaragua is a beautiful country, from verdant fields and arid plains to forested mountains and volcanoes. The farm called La Dueña is situated in a place that feels close to civilization but secluded in a small valley and shaded by old growth canopy. When Juan Ramon walks around the farm, he talks about each lot pointing out the specific variety, when it was planted, the pruning schedule, and what he expects the future production to look like. H3 is a variety developed by a big exporter called Atlantic, and it’s a first generation hybrid, so it cannot be propagated by seed. This lot was planted by Juan Ramon’s father in 2013, and he won 9th place at the Cup of Excellence with it in 2017. This is the first iteration of Juan’s H3 as a natural. CANTALOUPE BLACK TEA ROSE H3
