Crochet Friendship Bracelet Class LEVEL: Beginner PREREQUISITES: No experience required! CLASS DESCRIPTION: Geared for kids and teens eight years and older, this class will teach how to make a crochet chain bracelet and attach beads to your chain! Whether you or your child are planning to gift a friendship bracelet to a friend, making personalized bracelets for yourself, or looking to have a fun experience with family, you will walk away knowing a new and exciting craft! You will learn about the following skills in this class: Create a slip knot Hold your yarn and crochet hook Make a chain bracelet Count stitches Attached beads to a chain stitch Read a simple pattern given in class PATTERN: Pattern provided in class. MATERIALS: Yarn: 1 skein of Malabrigos Rios: DK-weight yarn (color of your choice!). Yarn should be wound prior to class. US H (5mm), Crochet Hook Tapestry needle Scissors Date: Saturday, July 18th, 12pm-1pm All materials are available for purchase at A Yarn Market. Please purchase materials and choose yarn color prior to class. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to wind your yarn in store, or winding yarn at the store when you purchase beforehand. Store hours can be located here. POLICIES Class fee does not include the yarn or needles. Materials are available at A YARN MARKET for purchase before class. Classes require a minimum of three participants to be conducted. If fewer than three participants are enrolled, a private lesson may be offered, or the class fee will be credited back to you. No refunds. Please note that missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Class dates are contingent upon weather conditions; extreme weather may necessitate rescheduling.
