Weiser-Kunstler, Feinherb Riesling 2025

Variety: Riesling Konstantin Weiser and Alexandra Künstler are the names behind the husband-wife duo of Weiser-Kunstler. Their passion project began in just 2005. Even though the winery is still in early stages, the project has completely taken off. The couple balances their duties—Konstantin works in the cellar while Alexandra manages the affairs of the estates. They share their love for the vineyard work together, though for them it seems like their life’s joy. They utilize all old vines, un-grafted, with low-yielding fruit. The flora and fauna throughout the vineyards is encouraged to flourish. Their vineyards include some of the steepest and dangerous slate sites. The wines, which often retain a natural residual sugar, are always in balance, singing the praises of the Mosel vines from which they hail. There may not be a better estate wine out there from the Mosel. While this Riesling does have a lit of residual sugar, the acidity and minerality combat and balance it perfectly.
