Chiyonoen Naturally Grow Fukamushicha 煎茶「桜花」 50g This deep steam sencha green tea is from Yabe Village, Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture. The longer steam time of over 60 seconds softens and breaks up the leaf. When steeped fukamushicha is richer in colour, thicker bodied with less astringency. This tea is perfect to be enjoyed both hot or cold. The tea is suitable for multiple brewing, each steep offering new and complex flavours. This high-quality tea is produced without the use of chemical fertilisers, the farm uses a unique farming method of using hand-picked fermented organic fertilisers (bokashi fertilisers).
