At the heart of Prestina is a patented cup-driven pressing system. Simply add coffee, pour hot water, stir, wait briefly, and press. During immersion, an integrated duck valve helps retain water inside the brewing chamber, promoting flavor development before extraction begins. As pressure is applied, the valve opens progressively, allowing the coffee to flow into the cup below. No plunger, no complicated technique—just a straightforward brewing ritual that consistently delivers satisfying results. Prestina features a permanent stainless steel filter, eliminating the need for paper filters while allowing the coffee's natural oils and flavors to pass through. The result is a rich, smooth cup with satisfying body and texture. Wide openings and a minimal number of components make filling, cleaning, and reassembly quick and convenient, encouraging everyday use. For optimal results, we recommend using medium-ground coffee.
