Original RAD Women's Brooch Deutscher Frauenarbeitsdienst 48076 1st Pattern

Original first pattern women's Deutscher Frauenarbeitsdienst service brooch. Worn until 1937 when it became the "Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend" (National Labor Service for Female Youth) RADwJ and instituted a new rank brooch. This badge came in three ranks: Bronze: Arbeitsmaid, Silver: Maidenführerin and Gold Lagerführerin. I believe this one was originally silver. It has some wear, but is in overall good condition. The silver finish has mostly worn off. A very nice looking piece with nice detail. The number on the back is 48076.
