This book brings together fifteen speeches from Manuel “Manolo” Betancur, The World Bread Hero USA, spanning 2015 to 2026. Through these speeches, Manolo shares his journey as an immigrant entrepreneur and community leader facing a broken immigration system that needs to be fixed. Each chapter tells the story behind a speech, focusing on resilience, opportunity, love, faith, humanity, the American Dream, and the sense of community that has grown around Manolo’s Bakery in Charlotte, North Carolina. (Registered as We Care 4) is a 501c3 nonprofi t organization located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The nonprofi t received its formal IRS designation as a charitable organization in June 2024.
