This large-scale Swedish bin counter features a classic curved” tambour-style” front with three independent sliding compartments. Originally used in 19th or early 20th-century general stores, these units allowed shopkeepers to store and measure out bulk dry goods for customers. Made from solid pine and finished in a period-correct cream-painted exterior that showcases a wonderful “shabby chic” aged patina and natural distressing. The front is finished with unique diamond shaped decorative moulding providing a geometric contrast to the soft curves of the bins. Features a deep, solid waxed pine countertop, making it highly versatile for use as a kitchen island ,sideboard, or shop display.
