Achillea ptarmica | Double Pearl

Achillea ptarmica 'Double Pearl' is a beautiful perennial that typically grows to a height of about 60-75cm and spreads around 45cm wide. Double Pearl is just so beautiful with its jagged green leaves. The foliage is strong green with soft fleshy stems. The flowers are fluffy double white pom poms, quite different from other achilleas. Excellent for a mass of white impact in the garden. For optimal growth, Achillea ptarmica prefers a sunny to partially shaded position. It thrives in well-drained soil, making it suitable for a variety of garden settings, including borders, wildflower gardens, or as ground cover. When planting, ensure there is adequate space between plants to allow for their natural spread and air circulation. In terms of care, Achillea ptarmica is relatively low-maintenance. Regular watering is important, especially during dry spells, but avoid waterlogged conditions. Deadheading spent flowers will encourage more blooms and prolong the flowering season.
