Aloe vera
One of the most popular succulents in cultivation, grown for its ornamental value but also for topical treatment uses, Aloe vera originates from the Arabian peninsula. Thick fleshy bright green leaves, serrated at the edges, form a dense rosette for this species, known for quickly emerging with small new plants (pups) around the central stem. WATERING In Summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly (every two months). Spring gradually increase watering - depending on temp and light exposure. LIGHT REQUIREMENTS Full sun. REPOTTING Repotting is only necessary if and when the offsets have filled the pot, otherwise it can stay in the same pot for many years. Use a well-draining cactus and succulent potting mix when repotting. FEED Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year. POT SIZE / HEIGHT See available sizes below. Please note that, due to their natural variability, specimens' height may be within 10-20% of the stated height below. Plant supplied in nursery pot.
