Queer Clay Club - Mud & Mingle Meetup

Join us for an evening of pottery to celebrate queer community through clay! As we celebrate pride each and every month in this two-hour hand-building class, our instructor will guide you through basic hand-building techniques that you can use to create a small object of your choosing. Make a small vase, pinch pot, sculpture, or creature, or get as creative as you’d like! During class, you’ll also have the opportunity to paint and decorate your piece using colorful underglazes to make it uniquely your own. Afterward, we’ll take care of the rest — we’ll fire and glaze your work. Your completed piece will be ready for pickup in approximately four weeks. Bring a friend, bring a partner, bring an ally, and bring yourself — we’ll take care of the rest. Happy Pride! Sliding Scale Pricing: There are sliding-scale price options available for this class. Please select the scale option that feels right for you and your current finances. Tier 1 ($75) is a pay-it-forward rate that helps subsidize lower-cost spots for those who need them and supports our ability to continue offering and expanding these programs. Tier 2 ($60) reflects the true cost of the class. If you’re able, we encourage choosing a higher tier—your support directly helps us expand affordable class opportunities for others. There are a set amount of spaces for each option, and if one is sold out, we encourage you to register for the following month or reach out to our studio team at hi@stilllifeceramics.com. Please note that discounts and promotions may not be applicable to any tiers outside of the true class cost. For cancellations made fewer than 4 full days, but more than 24 hours before the start time, a 50% refund or 50% credit toward another class or workshop will be issued. We cannot provide refunds or credits for cancellations or rescheduling requests made fewer than 24 hours before the start time of class, if you miss your class, or arrive too late to participate.
