The design is charted employing cross stitch over two and long stitches laid over the cross stitches in the spool as well as blackwork/back stitching in the grid work in the 4th column from the right. The model was stitched using the following optional specialty stitches: Satin Stitch, 24-leg eyelets and Rice Stitch. The border is stitched with Smyrna Crosses over 4 linen threads.
