1914(Aug 7) Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij, Bijkantoor-Weltevreden printed env (carelesly torn open across centre) endorsed “Please Forward” fnkd 22½c & registered w/Bijk. Noordwijk (Weltevreded) No 345 label & simply addressed E. Geier, c/o GPO Singapore. Origionally intended for Switzerland w/address on rev crossed through in red ink & re-addressed on face to Shanghai after transiting Hong Kong w/boxed P.B.C. h/s applied in violet & w/on rev rare brown on white General Post Office/Hong Kong/Officially Sealed label [At the start of WW1, in the absence of Censor label the Officially Sealed labels were occassionally used until Censorship labels became available..Ref CCSG Oct 1996 & HKSC by CE Norton]
