This particular lot was selected by Rival Bros. Co-Founder Jonathan Adams and Director of Coffee Chris Miller while visiting Vides58 in Guatemala (read more in Field Notes: Chapin, releasing later this year)! The Finca Bromelias farm where this lot originates is overseen by the grandson of Vides58 founder Jorge Vides, Renardo "Nayo" Ovalle, and his wife Jaqueline. Being born into a family of coffee producers and living among the farms and traditions carried with it, Nayo is an acute agronomist focused on pushing quality and innovation at the farm level and beyond to produce stunning coffees such as this. While visiting the Vides58 cupping lab, this coffee selection jumped off the table with its incredible sweetness and complexity, revealing a wonderfully delicious coffee that has been prepared with the utmost care.
