Allinson Bread Carved English Bread Board, c1920

Available is a unique bread board that was originally used for advertising Allinson Bread, a flour milling company founded in the 1890s. The board shows moderate use and knife marks throughout. Block letters on top that read "Allinson Bread" are accentuated with light stylized leaf decoration around the rim. Estimated age of production c1920. Lovely wear and patina that adds age. Backside has scorch marks. Imported from England.
