The Premtool Straight Edge Polished Stainless Steel Tile Trim is a hard-wearing, premium edge profile suitable for both residential and commercial tiling projects, indoors and out. Made from 304 grade stainless steel, it combines a high-shine polished finish with genuine long-term durability — resisting corrosion, impact, and the adhesion of bacteria and micro-organisms. Particularly well suited to commercial kitchens, wet rooms, swimming pool surrounds, and external tiling. Supplied with a protective film. Always measure twice.Leave protective film on until complete. 2 Cut with an angle grinder with stainless steel disc, or fine-tooth metal mitre saw.Do not use aluminium or wood cutting blades. 3 For corners, mitre at 45°.Stainless is harder to cut than aluminium — secure firmly before cutting. 4 Deburr all cut edges thoroughly.Cut stainless steel edges are extremely sharp. Use gloves. Fitting the trim 1 Dry-fit first. Trim depth should be 1.5–2.0mm greater than the tile. 2 Apply adhesive and bed fixing tab firmly in.For external installations, use a waterproof flexible adhesive. 3 Bed tiles firmly against trim. Keep polished face clean.Remove adhesive immediately with a damp cloth. 4 Grout the joint, then peel off the protective film.Do not peel film before grouting.
