The begonia is a generous flower that has made one serious error in judgment and continues to make it every season without revision: it blooms too readily, in too many colors, in too many places, which has led the world to conclude it requires no attention. It is blush pink with the ruffled construction of a flower given too much talent and no one to tell it when to stop, which in this case was the correct call. The begonia deserves better.
