Haru-tsuge-dori is a 20ml bottle of fountain pen ink from Sailor’s Shikiori range, a collection of dye-based inks drawn from the colours of the Japanese seasons. It belongs to the Noyama-no-uta (Songs of the Mountains) series, named after the birds of Japan’s 72 micro-seasons. Haru-tsuge-dori (spring-announcing bird) is a light green named for the bush warbler whose song signals the start of spring. The ink shows soft shading from lighter to deeper tones as it dries.
