VINTAGE 1970’s OMEGA SEAMASTER COSMIC 2000 MODEL 166.137 100% ORIGINAL CONDITION. This fabulous Omega Seamaster ‘Cosmic 2000’ is a rare find. Housing the exceptional quality Omega 1012 automatic movement with calendar in a stainless-steel, fully water-proof case with screw-down crown. This example is in 100% original condition, with very little wear. A good size also, measuring 39mm across the bezel, not including the crown and 43mm tip-to-tip. The bezel is in excellent condition, rotating nicely, with no wear, chips or serious scratches. The luminous figures are still perfect, but have lost most of their luminosity unfortunately. The beautiful original matt black dial is in exceptional condition, as Cosmic dials are very often tired. The lume is still perfect and glows brightly. The hands are similarly in excellent order, though they have also lost most of their luminosity. The crown unscrews and screws down perfectly as it should. The back is in excellent condition, with very clear Hipocampus symbol and just some very fine rubbing from where the bracelet has touched over the years. The glass is the original and in perfect, un-scratches condition. The integral bracelet has some stretch, as would be expected on a watch of this age, but it is still very sound and the clasp snaps closed firmly as it should. This will fit up to an eight and a half inch wrist. Complete with the original boxes, both inner and outer card. this is a very, very cool watch in fine original condition. not many completely original ones remain.
