These ear studs have a double-pyramid silhouette of natural, unpolished raw diamonds with visible trigons. Left untouched since they were formed through billions of years, the crystals are embraced by four delicate prongs in handcrafted 14K gold. Sophisticated and understated, they transition from a casual day look to an evening out, adding a raw twist to a classic style. With raw diamonds it will be impossible to find two identical rough diamonds, but Roughdiamonds.dk’s founder and designer Maya Bjørnsten will always aim to find “siblings” – rough diamonds that have the same inner fire, shape, colour, similar carat weight, and overall expression. It is the beauty and the tricky part of working with rough diamonds set in earrings.
