Born in 1975, Richard Robinson began his career as a graphic designer before moving into painting full time in 2001. He is well known in New Zealand for his landscape works, with many of his paintings now held in private and corporate collections worldwide. More recently, Richard has become a sought-after teacher through his instructional videos online, and has been featured in several international art magazines. He was also the opening speaker at the world’s largest plein air painting convention in the United States. Richard travels extensively to teach and paint, and lives in New Zealand.
