Scrappy Improv Quilting Workshop

In this workshop, students will learn and practice the skills of improv piecing using your scraps or ours! We'll discuss how to incorporate traditional quilt blocks and color theory to create a modern mini quilt top. You'll audition different options in solids and prints and get some good practice with quilt math! This workshop is taught by the incredibly talented Krystle of Zipped & Printed! All materials are included in your registration--unless you have fabric you love at home, then bring them! Skill Level: Intermediate Students should be able to confidently use a sewing machine and rotary cutter independently and should have some experience with quilt piecing techniques. If you need to start with those skills, please first take our Introduction to the Sewing Machine Class, Beginning Sewing, and Beginning Quilting. Then come back for this class!
