Domaine Treloar, Cotes Catalanes, La Terre Promise, 2023

This is 70% Grenache Gris, 20% Macabebou (seen in Cava and in white Rioja as Viura) and Carignan Blanc. It has a richer fruity nose, showing some oak and spice. The palate has herbal (fennel?) hints and a peachy fruit. The finish is longer and with a refreshing acidity uplift to an overall richer balance. It undergoes wild-yeast fermentation and lees-aging in oak. This unique process creates a multifaceted wine that balances crisp acidity with luxurious weight.
