Campers will: Learn hand-building, sculpting, and texture techniques with professional ceramic artists Enjoy daily “Clay Free Play” for independent creative development Take guided nature walks along the LA River Path Play outdoor games and recess at Lewis McAdams Park Explore mindfulness, teamwork, and eco-friendly studio practices Create artwork to take home — all materials included With a small group size and a balance of structured workshops, outdoor exploration, and free creative time, campers build confidence, connection, and imagination in a supportive studio environment. This camp is presented in collaboration with CultivArte, a not-for-profit project that strives to provide low cost, accessible, and diverse arts programming led by professional teaching artists in Los Angeles County. Daily Guided Nature & Art Walks: Immersive walks along the LA River Path to gather artistic inspiration and learn about the local ecosystem. Daily Outdoor Recess: Supervised active play, lunch, and fresh air at Lewis McAdams Park. Daily Art Making: Free time to draw, paint, and create. Daily Community-Building: Morning and closing circles featuring structured team games and social-emotional learning activities.
