2014 Gibson Les Paul
The 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional P-90 Goldtop Limited Edition with Bigsby is a highly collectible, vintage-inspired electric guitar that Gibson USA released in a restricted run of only 300 units worldwide. Built to celebrate Gibson's 120th anniversary, this rare model pairs a carved maple top finished in iconic, glossy Bullion Gold with a solid mahogany back featuring a natural finish. To maintain classic Les Paul sustain and resonance while easing shoulder strain, Gibson utilized its Traditional weight relief system for the body construction. The guitar features a solid mahogany set-neck carved to a fast, comfortable 1960s SlimTaper "C" profile, which is topped by a bound rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius, traditional acrylic trapezoid inlays, and 22 cryogenically treated frets for extended life. For its distinctive sonic character, the guitar relies on dual Gibson P-90 single-coil pickups with cream covers, which deliver a punchy, snarling mid-range growl and crisp top-end snap. These are wired through a traditional layout of two volume controls, two tone controls, a 3-way toggle switch, and Orange Drop capacitors for smooth tonal rolling. A standout hardware feature is the factory-installed Bigsby B7 vibrato tailpiece paired with an ABR-1 bridge. Because the Bigsby is mounted using a non-invasive system like a Vibramate adapter, and the original tailpiece studs and a standard stop-bar tailpiece were included in the case from the factory, players can easily revert the guitar back to a hardtail setup without drilling new holes into the top. The rest of the chrome and nickel hardware package includes vintage-style Kluson Deluxe tuners with green keys, classic gold speed knobs, a single-ply cream pickguard, and a high-performance Graphtec nut that was precision-slotted via Gibson's PLEK machine setup This guitar is in excellent condition and includes the original Bigsby arm which we or you can reinstall easily.
