Vintage French Linen Chore Jacket Type 1

Our chore jacket cut from a pure linen deadstock cloth woven by Fleur Bleue, a French mill that closed decades ago. This fabric has been in storage since the 1950s, nearly eighty years old and entirely unrepeatable. Type 1 is a pure linen in a warm cream tone with a naturally even weave and a gentle lustre. It has the subtle irregularity you'd expect from an unprocessed linen of this age without being heavily textured — refined for a pure linen, and one that will soften and improve with every wear and wash. Cut with our straight, easy fit with three curved patch pockets. Very limited quantities per size. Blond horn buttons. Cut and sewn in East London.
