Framed in Glass: 10” Fused Glass Art Workshop Create a striking 10” fused glass art piece designed to be displayed in a modern metal frame. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and assemble layered glass to create a dimensional piece that captures light, color, and texture. Sample designs will be available for inspiration, but instructors are happy to guide you in creating your own custom design within the size and material parameters of the class. No experience is necessary — we’ll guide you through every step. What You’ll Make • One 10” fused glass art piece What To Expect • Introduction to working with pre-cut glass pieces • Guidance on layering techniques to create depth and visual interest • Instruction on composition, color balance, and design layout • Support in customizing your piece within class guidelines • Explanation of the kiln firing process and finishing steps Finished pieces will be kiln-fired after class and will be ready for pickup approximately 1 week later. Supplies Provided • Pre-cut fusing glass • Metal display frame • Safety equipment • Kiln firing Optional specialty glass elements or color upgrades may be available during class.
