Denis

Denis is an 8-year-old girl who lives with her mother in a rural area with very limited access to transportation, no running water, and no electricity. Her mother raises chickens to collect and sell eggs, which helps her generate income to support their household and cover Denis’s basic needs. Among Denis’s simple joys are French fries, a small treat she enjoys when she can, and riding her bicycle, where she feels, even if just for a moment, that she can go anywhere. Her biggest dream is to become a veterinarian, as she loves animals and enjoys caring for them.
