The stone is not covered by claws, so the entire view of the stone can be seen, and the non-decorative structure is a feature of the design. The series is the result of handiwork that “only a person can do” to the nearest 0.1 millimeter, using advanced processing techniques by a precious stone engraver and a craftsman dedicated to metalworking in Kofu.
