Vintage moroccan runner rug - pink, brown, blue - Boujad - 3.1x7.7ft / 95x235cm

Probably made in the area of Boujad, Middle Atlas, Morocco, the rug shows a classic serie of diamonds in different sizes. The background of the rug is a bright pink, with brown, green, blue and yellow designs. The rug is handcrafted 100%. It is made of a mix of wool and cotton. The wool is a low pile with cotton threads poping out and giving a great texture to the whole rug. It is quite thick and would perfectly work for a high traffic area. Pictures were taken in my bright and all white studio in Marrakech. They have been edited but colors are accurate.
