Thank you for your understanding and support of sustainable fashion. The inspiration from this design came from my trip to Kimono exhibition at the V&A Museum in London. Seeing how cranes were used to create movement across all mediums in Japanese art is magical. Japanese art and culture has influenced almost every aspect of my work, and continues to do so. To create this design I started with one key illustration and re-created it several times in varying sizes, adding unique and intricate patterns to each version. I then used methodical brush strokes in fluid lines to help them take flight.
