Our precision printed and wax laminated cases are handcrafted at our workshop in the new forest England, using 50 years of bookbinding experience. Key Details About Hardback cases: We use slim velcro to hold the device inside (or to attach your own plastic holder). Cases have a rounded spine so cannot be bent backwards. The cover stays shut naturally, they do not have a magnet closure. Cases replicate hardback books and should be treated more carefully than a plastic or leather case. We use a state of the art hook and loop Grip material (used on NASA spacesuits) that holds the device in place when in use but can also allow for it to be removed and replaced over and over again. Or you can purchase a low-cost silicone or tpu holder for your device and attach the velcro to that (we do not supply the silicone/tpu cases as there are so many and we do not want to create plastic-waste as they age out). Cases are decorative hardback book covers and are not made for bending backwards for one-handed reading. They should be held open like a traditional book and are extremely lightweight to allow for this. PLEASE NOTE: Works with ALL Kindle Paperwhite devices and kindle models with a 7 Inch Screen.
