ADAPT STYLE A six plait horse whip from Inner Mongolia, hand braided by a Mongolian craftsman from his village. Raw untreated cow leather and ebony wood. For the Mongolian people, the tashuur is not for striking. It is a guide for their horse partners, carrying destiny, luck, and fortune. Integrating our Graedance language into a portable form, 01 Mabian extends the same meaning through its creation. A charm for serendipity, prosperity, and fortuity. Each key charm is hand assembled in our Melbourne studio, the polished orbs forming a pattern that references the ancient Greek tradition of horse hair plaiting. A western ornamental language paired with an eastern one. Each whip retains the patina and oil from the craftsman's hands. No two feel or appear the same. 25 pieces only.
