Sourced from a vineyard that was once the site of a sandstone quarry, the vineyard's sandy, calcareous soils inject the Brecciaro with velvety soft tannins and high toned aromatics driven by tart red berries, red cherry, dried rose and violet petal, and sweet green herbs. The Brecciaro's energy remains chiseled and direct across the palate, doling out more red things than a Simply Red's greatest hits album - red berries, red candies, red flowers - it's all there. A bottle that takes perfectly to 10-15 minutes in the cooler.
