Cumbrae Colourful Topography Map Print

Home to the much loved holiday spot of Millport, Cumbrae or Great Cumbrae is the larger of the two Cumbrae islands and is located in the lower Firth of Clyde off the West Coast of Scotland. Digital print featuring the topography of Great Cumbrae with a colourful twist. This abstract art piece has been created by hand drawing the contours from accurate walking maps and the colour added manually using CAD. *This is the original idea and IP of Kym Parker/Kilo Papa Studio circa 2018.* I am greatly inspired by colour and the unending beauty of Scotlands landscapes, as well as organic patterns in nature and the way they present in contour maps. This left me with a desire to nurture connections between people and place within my work. Whether it’s engagements, weekend adventures, Munro Bagging or just the view from your kitchen window, the landscapes we share our lives with hold special meaning and connect us to that place. I have slowly built this collection of abstract maps of Scotlands beautiful mountains and hilly places to celebrate those connections and memories and give them a permanent place in our homes. Colours on screen may vary dependant on your screen settings. The majority of the images shown are digital mock ups - meaning the image has been photoshopped into the photo. They are shipped flat in a sturdy cardboard envelope and are processed in 5 working days before shipping. Due to the nature of recycled papers, each batch may vary slightly in colour and you may see little flecks throughout the paper. We like to celebrate these tiny imperfections of added character Large format prints - A2, A1 & A0 - are printed in Glasgow onto a 200gsm Satin paper stock. They are rolled in tissue and shipped in a sturdy postal tube. They are printed to order on a monthly basis so please allow 4 weeks for processing.
