Negash Abarago
This washed lot from Kedamesa village in Ethiopia's Limu region is a lovely example of what makes Ethiopian coffees so distinctive. It has a light, clean body, with a gentle floral quality reminiscent of black tea and a bright citrus edge running through it. Negash Abarago inherited the family farm from his parents and has been working the land here for over a decade. While coffee remains the household's primary livelihood, Negash also grows bananas and avocados for his family's own use, giving the farm a grounded, self-sufficient character that we think comes through in the care of their work.
