Short puffed sleeves, each finished with a delicate rosette frame the round neckline with a softness that perfectly balances the boldness of the print. The hand-smocked waistband transitions from print to skirt with extraordinary artisanal craft. Worked entirely by hand in aqua and warm amber peach threads, its chevron zig-zag pattern is punctuated at every point by three tiny rosebuds. From this band, the full aqua cotton skirt falls in magnificent volume, its luminous clarity a beautiful counterpoint to the richness above.
