Cyan

I mix natural pigments with safflower oil using an “ancient” method. Varied grinding creates textured reliefs and transparent glazes. Each work is named after its pigment. Cyan, or Newton’s blue, is a transparent, fine pigment with strong tinting power, ranging toward turquoise with greenish tones.
