Barrua 2017 is the flagship wine of Agricola Punica and one of Sardinia's greatest wine expressions. Born from a collaboration between Sebastiano Rosa and the legendary winemaker Giacomo Tachis, this wine represents the perfect fusion of Sardinian tradition and winemaking innovation.Made from a harmonious blend of Carignano (85%), Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, Barrua comes from vineyards planted in sandy soils near the sea, imparting unique minerality. The wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, developing remarkable complexity and elegance.On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe dark fruits, wild blueberries, Mediterranean spices, aromatic herbs, licorice, and balsamic notes.
