Six decades later, Wharfedale's 85th Anniversary Heritage Series brings it back, entirely re-engineered with contemporary drivers, crossover components, and cabinet construction, yet unmistakably faithful to the original's proportions and wood-veneered aesthetic. The new Linton is a genuine three-way design — a rarity in the modern market — pairing an 8" black woven Kevlar® bass driver with a 5" Kevlar® midrange cone and a 1" soft-dome tweeter. The bass-reflex cabinet is tuned to extend low-frequency response to 35Hz (–6dB), while the precisely calculated crossover points at 630Hz and 2.4kHz ensure seamless driver integration across the full audio band. At 90dB sensitivity, the Linton rewards amplifiers from 25W upward, making it equally at home with a vintage integrated or a modern high-current design. Finished in your choice of Walnut or Mahogany veneer with a classic woven fabric grille, the Linton is as much a statement piece as it is a performance loudspeaker. The purpose-designed matching stands are included, positioning the tweeter at the ideal listening height and completing the vintage-inspired silhouette.
