Skookum

Skookum rhododendron is an uncommon hybrid from Washington with a excellent form and a bounty of showy red trusses in spring. The full, rounded growth habit reaches around 4' tall x 4' wide at maturity. Its olive green foliage provides a lovely canvas for its blooms, and very nice character in the garden all year. Place Skookum in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. It is hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill.
