- The vaccine is recommended for the vaccination of chickens and turkeys to prevent mortality and clinical signs caused by infection with Newcastle disease virus/genotype VII.
- Administration and dosage
- For administration by spray method. The vaccine should be reconstituted according to the instructions provided in the package insert. Do not exceed one dose per chicken. Determine the quantity of total vaccine doses required for the number of birds to be vaccinated. All equipment used for vaccination should be clean and free of detergents and disinfectants. Calibrate the device and adjust for spraying according to the manufacturer's instructions. Spraying day-old chicks in the hatchery is recommended with a droplet size of 120-150 microns. Spraying chicks older than day-old, recommended with a droplet size of 50-80 microns. Reconstitute the vaccine by adding 5 ml of sterile or well cooled boiled water, and mix well until completely dissolved. Dilute every 1000 doses of the vaccine with 100-300 ml of sterilized or boiled and well-cooled water. Stop the ventilation system of the poultry house before application, dim the lighting and spray the vaccine solution 30-40 cm above the birds’ heads with a suitable and calibrated device.
